The 10K

A Timed 10K Race to Patapsco State Park, then you'll head back to the Guinness Open Gate Brewery for more fun!

THE COURSE:

START TIME: 8 AM

The course will start  at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery, the first Guinness brewery on American soil since 1954. The course will run along the roadways of Patapsco State Park before runners will then return to the Brewery for a family friendly post-race party.

This is a chip-timed event. Participants must finish the 10K course within 1 hour and 39 minutes (16 min/mile). Participants are welcome to run, jog, or walk, as long as they finish within the allotted time. We do allow for jogging strollers, but ask that you start at the back of of the pack. Wheelchair athletes are permitted, but due to safety concerns and safety restrictions, the wheelchair can not move faster than the fastest runner. No bikes, scooters, skateboards or other wheeled vehicles are allowed.

NOTE: Due to nuances in the route, the course will not be USATF certified.  Slight variations in the course length may occur.

The course map is TBD.

 

 

THE BEER RELEASE AFTER PARTY:

The after party AKA The best part! After completing the race, all participants will congregate together and celebrate their accomplishments of the day back at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery for the family friendly post race party. Guests will enjoy access to both inside and outside of the brewery. Image

BIB PICK UP:

COURSE AIDE:

We will have a medical team on site that will be able to help assess your race day medical needs and administer acute first aid when necessary.

We will have two water stops on the course to keep up your hydration. Additionally, runners are welcome to bring their own water on course with them.
